RULES
- Classes will be based on classification points system - download guide.
- Group 1 (less then 1:16) and Group 2 (greater then 1:16) 1:16 is an arbitrary number. The exact number will be based on qualifying times. For example if we have 40 cars entered we will split the fastest 20 cars into Group 1 and the remaining 20 cars into Group 2.
- Each group will have a 20-minute qualifying session; then a 50-minute handicapped Enduro race. Handicap is based on the fastest lap during qualifying. Handicap will be assessed during a mandatory pit stop. Failure to comply with the mandatory pit stop will result in a black flag where an additional 2-minute handicap will be assessed. Handicap Assessment
- Drivers that consistently beat their qualifying time by greater then 3 seconds per lap will be penalized a black flag for a stop and go in the pits for “sandbagging”.
- All drivers must have a valid competition license from an accredited racing body.
- All cars must pass a safety inspection based on event safety requirements
- Generally the starting order of the Enduro Race will be the finishing order of Qualifying.
